与军运偕行，共建生态化“美丽光谷”
目前，东湖高新区涉及军运会的绿化提拔项目中，已完成道路绿化提拔2条（关豹高速、佛祖岭一路），开工16条，积极筹备3条；完工场馆、旅店周边绿化提拔项目2个（湖北省奥体中心周边、光谷国际网球中心），开工9个；累计完成亮点片区绿化提拔面积43.7万平方米。

让光谷拥有更多公园、绿道，让绿意走进市民心中
近年来，东湖高新区持续开展公园扩绿、道路添绿、庭院布绿、立体增绿工程，大力推进城市园林绿化建设。
目前，已建成区绿地总面积2912.61公顷，绿地率32.1%；绿化覆盖总面积3596.95公顷，绿化覆盖率39.6%；乔灌覆盖面积2379.63公顷，占绿化覆盖总面积的66.2%。
